As an Early Childhood Associate Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

⭐Assisting lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences for children.

⭐Supporting daily routines and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

⭐Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.

⭐ Providing individualized attention and support to children's development and learning.

⭐Assisting in observing and assessing children's progress and communicating findings to lead teachers and parents/guardians.

⭐Preparing materials, learning centers, and displays to enhance the learning environment.

⭐Participating in meetings, conferences, and professional development activities to support ongoing growth and improvement.

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

✅ Must have an up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.

✅ Must have completed a Police record check and be willing to submit a VSC.

✅ Must have an up-to-date TB test.

✅ Associate's degree or equivalent coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

✅ Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred.

✅Knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and curriculum frameworks.

✅Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.

At Sleepy Snuggles, we are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our team on a Maternity Cover basis. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various operational aspects, ensuring excellence in service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

This position demands strong leadership skills, adeptness in communication, and a commitment to upholding confidentiality.

As a Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

⭐Supervising and mentoring team members to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to standards.

⭐Managing staffing, inventory, and cost control measures.

⭐Upholding customer service standards and addressing parent inquiries professionally.

⭐Assisting in administrative tasks and budget management.

Join our team at Sleepy Snuggles as a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher and be part of an exciting and enriching summer program for children. You will play a vital role in creating a fun and educational environment where children can learn, grow, and make lasting memories.

This is a full-time seasonal position (Monday to Friday throughout July and August), perfect for individuals passionate about working with children and fostering their development in a summer camp setting.

As a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

⭐Assisting lead teachers in planning and implementing engaging activities, lessons, and projects aligned with the summer camp curriculum.

⭐Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of children during camp hours, both indoors and outdoors.

⭐Supporting the social and emotional development of campers through positive interactions, encouragement, and conflict resolution strategies.

⭐Assisting with the setup and cleanup of activity areas, ensuring they are safe, organized, and conducive to learning and play.

⭐Fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where campers feel valued, respected, and empowered to express themselves.

Registered Early Childhood Educator

Sleepy Snuggles is seeking dedicated and nurturing Early Childhood Educators across their Infant, Toddler and Preschool Rooms. In this role you will collaborate with Supervisors, Lead Teachers and fellow staff members to provide attentive care and supervision to young children, within a positive and enriching learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

As a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

⭐Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programs in alignment with curriculum objectives and program philosophy.

⭐Leading children in activities including storytelling, song teaching, crafting, and creative expression facilitation.

⭐Taking a leadership role in ensuring excellent supervision and interaction with children across all settings, including classrooms, sleep areas, and outdoor activities.

⭐Observing and assessing individual and group needs of children in their environment.

⭐Completing children’s Progress Reports as scheduled.

⭐Adhering to all center policies outlined in the Staff Policy Manual, including behavior management, safety protocols, and health practices.

⭐Maintaining appropriate ratios in assigned rooms, making adjustments where necessary.

⭐Delegating tasks professionally to team members, volunteers, and students, assuming appropriate leadership.

⭐Attending and contributing to staff meetings and professional development sessions.

⭐Supporting and maintaining professional relationships with parents in accordance with center policies and maintaining the confidentiality of clients, co-workers, and the center as appropriate.

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

✅ Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators to work as an RECE.

✅Must have an up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.

✅Must have completed a Police record check and be willing to submit a VSC.

✅Must have an up-to-date TB test.

✅Associate's degree, diploma or equivalent coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
