At Sleepy Snuggles, we envision a program that celebrates and encourages a way of learning that supports the child’s intellectual, physical, emotional and social development through active exploration, choice, independent learning and real-world skills. We are committed to providing a welcoming, educational, supportive space for children to embrace different ways of learning.

Children are to be protected from all forms of physical punishment, physical and verbal abuse, and emotional deprivation.

Diversity among families is acknowledged and valued, and each family is respected and supported regardless of social or economic status, each child’s abilities and needs, and each family’s cultural, social, linguistic, and spiritual heritage.

We believe that all these factors are central to the child’s safety, well-being and development. At Sleepy Snuggles Academic Childcare Centre, children’s care must be appropriate to the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs as well as the stage of development of each child.
